Identifying opportunities is a common theme in the public relations world. Can you identify them yourself? Perhaps so, then the cards roll over into achieving maximum output from that opportunity. This is where I usually fit into the equation. Recently at Toni&Guy Hemel Hempstead, the salon had a photo shoot that entailed the use of a new vintage (if its possible) clothes shop in Hemel Hempstead and a brilliant photographic location, Berkhamstead. This has achieved maximum publicity by the salon doing the hair for the shoot, but having all the clothes, make up and shoot for free (YES) and also scoring a Hertfordshire lifestyle magazine cover photo for the second time! Remember a magazine lifespan is significantlly longer than that of a paper!
