Busy days....

Pickle Public Relations & Communications has been up and running for TWO months now, and I'd like to thank those that have assisted in the successful beginning of the consultancy. You will note that I have added 'Pickle PR famous link list' to the blog. I do believe I've covered everyone, however if you think you should, or deserve a link, just write to me at picklepr@mac.com and tell me why you are deserving of a mention! You will notice that one is titled 'Top Secret', and believe me there are some very exciting times ahead of us all. You in the know, will know already!

Attention! Dates to remember that are important. First up Entries for the BHBA British Hairdressing Business Awards Friday 22nd June 07, have your entries in or you won't win! BHA British Hairdressing Awards, the ultimate trophy to hold will be one of these, closing date for entries is Friday 29th June 07. Some additional things to remember - North West London and Watford Business Awards are pending decision this week, Dacorum Business Awards are coming soon this summer and Hertfordshire Business Awards will be as planned later in the year! Oh and one final date to remember, yes my birthday Saturday 30th June 07 sees me turn another year on the life span calendar and well you know, i'll be 25 once more.

I'd like to take a moment to give a little mention to a colleague of mine, make up artist Daniel Hermy, who currently works for SpaceNK, and congratulate him on his article in the Daily Mail.

Since I'm in great form today, I'll share a personal photo of me in my Y3 hat, that I simply adore. I'm an advertisers dream consumer.

Success comes in many shades...

Its May 14th, the month is literally flying away. I seem to be on a hamster wheel right now. But down to business. Unfortunately The Hair Factory, Colchester did not win the title of 'Retailer of the Year', however, we must remember for a start that it was results that earned the salon a place in the shortlisted finalists. Results count just as much as winning the award, and I'm pleased to know that The Hair Factory, Cian and Paul and their team are my clients, and I'm very proud to have been there on the awards night. Well done team!

FRENCH PRESS / AWARDS / WHAT NEXT?

I'm delighted to let you know that Hair&Jerome are about to be featured in the French press, in 'Figaro' magazne, the magazine of the french daily newspaper Le Figaro. It doesn't surprise me that the salon is tipped as a must go for the french traveller in London. Not only that, another french magazine 'L'Officiel' is featuring the salon also. Further details available soon.

The Hair Factory, you'll be aware is possibly in line for an award as Retailer of the Year for Essex County. The black tie bash is tonight May 11th and we wish them all the luck in the world!

Toni&Guy having mastered the art of public relations communication, have been seeing client after client walk through their door for their latest special offer, that Pickle PR helped design and implement. Well Done!!

HAIR FACTORY FINGERS CROSSED

The Hair Factory's finalist position could be turned into Winner next friday at the Essex Countywide Business Awards, May 11th.
I'm sure everyone will keep their fingers crossed for them. The hard work that has gone into the daily running of the salon has been recognised by the local Colchester press that have featured them in a write up this weekend!
